Conference participants are invited to a welcome reception on Sunday evening. The scientific schedule starts on Monday morning. Oral presentations are held during the days and two poster sessions are offered in the evenings of Monday and Tuesday. Excursions to various sites are offered on Thursday afternoon and the conference dinner is scheduled for Thursday evening. The conference closes Friday noon.

Presentation guidelines: oral presentation
The length of oral presentations is 20 minutes; plan for 15 minutes of talk and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. The ideal format of slide projection is 16:9, however, also slides in 4:3 format will  reproduce well. We expect that you bring your own notebook computer with a socket for a standard (type A) HDMI connector. If this is not the standard of your notebook, bring a respective adaptor for a type A connector. If you are not able to bring your own presentation device, have your presentation prepared in .pptx (.ppt) or .pdf format on a USB stick. Make sure that the USB stick is scanned for viruses and does not contain any other data. Hand it over to the conference organisers upon registration but keep a safety copy of your presentation on another storage medium for yourself.

Presentation guidelines: poster presentation
We accept posters exclusively in portrait orientation ideally having a size of 841 x 1189 mm² (width x height, DIN A0). Smaller posters are accepted if none of the dimensions exceeds the respective dimension of the DIN A0 format.
There is no template for the poster presentation, just obey common rules for good poster communication (see below for guidelines). Remember that there is a poster competition and you might win a poster prize if your poster is very well prepared and you present it very well during the poster session!
